Insurance & Reimbursement

I am an out-of-network provider and am not contracted with insurance companies. This allows our work to be guided by your clinical needs rather than insurance restrictions.

I provide monthly Superbills (detailed receipts) that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend calling your insurance carrier prior to our first appointment to verify your "out-of-network mental health benefits."

Helpful questions to ask your insurance provider:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

  • What is my out-of-network deductible and has it been met?

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Healthcare providers are required to provide an estimate of the bill for services to patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance. You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. For questions or more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
