ABOUT ME

I am a board certified psychiatrist…

… who provides psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults as well as medication for older adolescents and adults when indicated. I am also a child, adolescent and adult psychoanalyst in-training at the San Francisco Center for Psychoanalysis. Additionally, I have received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Infant Parent Psychotherapy.

I obtained my undergraduate degree from New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a major in theater and a minor in journalism and mass communication. I received my post-baccalauereate credits from Mills College and my medical training from the University of California San Francisco.

I completed my psychiatry training at San Mateo Behavioral Health and Recovery Services. I received EMDR training through the Parnell Institute and my training in Infant Parent Psychotherapy through the Infant Parent Program at San Francisco General Hospital.

I also have experience in early childhood education.

I work with people across the lifespan and whose struggles are diverse. My areas of focus are:

  • Relationship issues

  • Life transitions

  • Mood and Anxiety Disorders

  • Trauma & EMDR therapy

  • Parent-child struggles & developmental issues.
